Week 2
1. Watch the Genius of photography episode.
2. Watch a brief power point presentation on Composition.
3. Listen to an intro to digital cameras from your teacher.
4. Complete the following exercise
Photo exercise 1 - Capture one subject
Select a subject/ object. Go out and capture your subject as many different ways/angles/distances as you can think of.
Think about composition but for this assignment concentrate on the rule of thirds.
Take at least 30 shots, choose the best three, optimise them in Adobe Photoshop, save them as TIFFs (format) and present them to the class next week.
Home work: Repeat the exercise at home with your mail box.
5. Listen to a demonstration on the optimising images, the first five steps and uploading images from the camera to the computer.
